Lt. Justin Miller

Justin Miller is a 22-year law enforcement veteran and serves as a Commander for the Cedar Park Police Department in Texas, where he oversees the Operations Bureau. 

During his career, he has served in patrol, street crimes, narcotics, and organized crime units. 

Justin has led major criminal investigations and managed critical incidents, including officer-involved shootings, hostage situations, barricaded subjects, and other high-risk events. He served as the Crisis Negotiations Team Leader for the Central Texas Regional SWAT Team from 2015 through 2026 and has extensive experience in crisis negotiations and critical incident command.  Throughout his career, he has instructed officers in hostage negotiations, narcotics investigations, surveillance, search and seizure, leadership, and other law enforcement topics.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from East Texas A&M University.  Justin is married to his amazing wife Nicole, and has two children, Payton and Kolt.
