Eagle Nation Motorcycle Club Hostage/Barricade Incident
On December 5th, 2015, multiple people were taken hostage at Eagle Nation Cycles (the clubhouse for the Fox Valley Chapter of the Hell’s Lovers Motorcycle Gang). During the incident officers came under heavy gunfire, and an officer was shot. Another individual was also shot during the incident. This presentation covers the tactical response, multiple agency response, hostage negotiations, the issues encountered in negotiating with a subject who was highly intoxicated and has major mental health issues and the aftermath effects on the officers involved and their families.
