Domestic Terrorism & Negotiations
Domestic Terrorism threats in the United States are constantly evolving and incidents involving DT subjects are often dealt with by negotiators. This course will give an overview of different right and left wing DT groups as well as additional special interest groups. The course will give attendees some insight as to what negotiation strategies can work when faced with a DT subject.
Objectives:
- Understand basic indicators of different domestic terrorism groups in US
- Discuss different special interest groups law enforcement may negotiate with
- Develop strategy to address different DT ideologies
- Explore case examples and how CNT could negotiate with subjects
